Rome: Italy's luxury sports car manufacturer Ferrari has
announced the launch of electric vehicles, the first electric Ferrari has been
decided to be introduced in 2025.
According to the international website, the world's fastest
luxury car manufacturer, the automobile giant Ferrari, has announced the
production of electric cars, the company has claimed that 15 thousand vehicles
will be produced in 2 years.
On the occasion of Investor Day, the company's top
executives have decided to introduce the first Ferrari powered by electric
technology in 2025.
Currently, Ferrari has not made public the details of the
plan to convert the petrol-powered luxury vehicles to electric.
Earlier, German company Volkswagen's Bentley and Volvo
brands announced to switch all vehicles from gasoline to electric by 2030.
In this context, according to a foreign media report,
sources with knowledge of Ferrari's project said that the company's new
production line will consider making electric vehicles, which will increase the
annual production by more than 35%. That is, more than 15 thousand vehicles
will be produced by the year 2025.
The iconic company has also hinted at an increase in profits
under the plan, with Ferrari telling investors that it expects a profit margin
of 38 to 40 percent in 2026, compared to a profit margin of 35.9 percent in
2021. It should be noted that Ferrari is researching batteries
that improve their power to meet the challenges of transitioning vehicles to an
electric system.
