 Apple is expected to reveal the iPhone 14 series at an upcoming event in September. But the unveiling may be delayed this year due to COVID lockdowns. According to a report by Nikkei Asia, Apple’s suppliers in China are falling behind schedule.
Apple has argued with the suppliers in china to speed up iPhone 14 development to keep with manufacturing schedules. Faxconn and Pegatron are reportedly the two major Apples key suppliers in china. Apple is estimated to lose up to 8$ billion in revenue due to covid lockdown in china, especially in Shanghai.
The report claims that iPhone 14 series has been delayed at least three weeks behind. As per Apple, the cupertino giant should reach its verification test (EVT) phase for the new iPhone models by June.
